Took a break tonight and went to see an early movie with Alice. Wow, a 5 pm showing was still considered a matinee so that left money for dinner too. Now that's a date in style :)
We went to Chen 22, what I thought was a Chinese restaurant. Typical fried noodles with duck sauce, silly floral patterns on the wall, and definitively Chinese tea. But wait...sushi at a Chinese restaurant? I'm still torn over this one. Can't blame a guy for trying to make a buck and one can definitely charge more for sushi than General Tsao's Chicken. (I guess there was General Tsao and then Colonel Sanders. What's up with the military that makes really good chicken?) Anyway, appetite outranked moral struggles and I had the chirashi sushi. Yummy. I guess the Chinese can under-cook fish as well as the Japanese. Go figure.
P.S. If anyone other than me is counting, the Canon Digital Elph is leading the battle against the Nikon D2h, 6 photos to 1. I've got to get bigger pockets in my slacks for the D2h!).
