The Genclik Parki or Youth Park is in the heart of the part of town that must have exploded into existence when Ankara became the capital. It has a large pond with a fountain and boats you can rent, a number of teahouses and restaurants, and a permanent fairground. This is one of many pictures I took there. Its the centre of a merry-go-round, and wherever there is a fairground in the country you will see this woman, turning majestically, and turning, turning.
