June 29, 2004

Hallelujah I'm saved! I've been struggling to come up with a photo, maybe even a decent photo a day for a while. It's hard. But today while browsing the PAD Forum I found this brilliant piece of advice, or was it a proposed rule, from Robin Statfeld, a dear pbase friend and PAD dropout: "Every photo posted to the PaD meta gallery must feature, prominently, a person holding up a cover of that day's New York Times. Problem solved."

Problem solved indeed, I've got my PAD for the next 183 days!! Thank you Robin. :)

Okay, so I'm joking. And so was she, I think. ;)

Lighten up, folks!

ROFL! Brilliant!
I'm so glad that your "come-up-with-a-photo-a-day woes" are solved! But Mark, don't even THINK of cheating by taking Sunday's NYT photo a day early. While we all know the early edition comes out on Saturday, we expect a telephoto shot zooming in on the words FINAL EDITION on Sunday's front page!
Thanks for the laugh Mark : )

Nice take on Robin's idea, Mark. Is this at the NYT offices or in a public library?

hee hee!

Damn! I was going to resort to that today ... but then again, I tossed the paper with the (completed) crossword this morning. (BTW, does anyone have Sunday's NYT crossword? -- the page was missing, i.e., not inserted at the plant, and I'm still in withdrawal.) :)

Mark muy words, Mark... you are really on the mark with this one! Well done. And you know, if you do decided to do a SP and NYT shot every day I'll still come and comment, because I know you'd do something creative.

I'm wondering if I have the paper in the right place and if the timer is going to go off now or in two more seconds. :)

LOL Clever take on Robin's suggestion!! I LOVE it! Great surroundings and composition. So what's going on in that paper that has your brow furrowed??
