Something more in the sprit of shooting the "community", these are a number of neighboring houses. I live on the edge of a very wet greenbelt where many reeds grow, near a stream.

Although the houses are the typical giant boxes, at least they have some distinctive architectural elements to provide some visual variety.

Note that the fence between my house and the greenbelt is low and almost non-existant - this is by community decree, but also has the nice effect of keeping an open feel to yards, and letting the many wild animals living in the reeds and nearby streams have a chance to pass through the yard on the way to wherever.
