The Matonge is a big sector of some 20 street blocs in Brussels where the black community, mainly africans from Zaire, Rwanda and some other countries, live and make there business.
A place where street life and music is at home.
Every year in June the black community has a street fiesta with barbecues, blues and rap, djembe drums and a lot of fun. A place I enjoy because of it's coulourfull scene and the rythm of music that is proper to the black people.
