Today is a historical day for Bellingham where I live. The Olympic triathlon trials are taking place here. Turns out they are happening in the park and on the streets right near where I live. This morning I walked down and took a few shots of the bike race that is part of the amateur competition. This afternoon it will be the Olympic finalists who will be racing. I will not be here as I have a concert to sing this afternoon. It's a big day for me too as the concert is part of the Bellingham Centennial Celebration and I created a huge PowerPoint presentation of historiical and contemporary slides for the concert. My photos will be part of this presentation. Like I said, today is an important day for this city and for me.
