Humans need signs.
They are lost without them.
Take away their signs and they would do the strangest things. Just look at this situation here:
a bend in a country road. And a gate at the entrance of a cow pasture.
Someone must have been afraid that humans could think the road goes on through that gate.
So they put up a sign that sais "doorgaand verkeer" ("through traffic").
It points in the direction where the road is.
This is in the north of Groningen, between Zoutkamp and Houwerzijl.
My humans and I had a good walk there yesterday. Maybe we'll have another one today.
It's White Monday, the second day of Pentecost.
The Dutch need two days for all of these big holidays.
They want to make sure. Like they do with their signs...
