For my fourth to the last picture of the year, I went to Knotts Berry Farm after work tonight planning to do a picture of a Roller-coaster there that I've done before but didn't use. I was quite disappointed to find out that it was CLOSED! In fact, it looked like it had been closed for a while! So, I decided that I better find something, so I went around the exterior of the park as the sun was setting and picked out a few things to photograph. This is the streetlights outside the park. I have a few others for today if you want to check and see which you like best.

I remember that tree in front of our house! I used to squeeze the juice out onto my fingernails and pretend it was fingernail polish! :) Love this pic the best though, Paul! :)

Hi Mom! The Jacaranda trees are so pretty around town! They're EVERYWHERE! I don't remember the one we had in Torrance, but I was awfully young back then. Anyway, for whatever it's worth I'm not going to Quit this project... I'm just FINISHING it. There is a subtle difference, though both result in the project ending! :)

I can't decide between this and the jacquaranda (sp?) the natural purple of the jacquaranda is so beautiful I miss it! I used to have one in the front yard of the first home we owned in torrance calif. I still cant believe you are going to quit:(:( mom.

Well composed and perfectly exposed. Nice range of warm tones as well.
You're not REALLY going to stop, are you?
What in the world could you do for a finale?
Guest 19-May-2004 13:03

Nicely done.

Yup, I'd have to say this is my favorite of the 4, with the phones coming in a close second. Beautiful colors and composition on this one, Paul. I can't believe you're almost done!
