The silk han is one of many hans (traders places for shops and storage), this of course catering to the silk trade. Bursa was an important shop along the silk road, all the way from China to the West. Many of the veils and other garments one can buy here are not silk at all. There is a trick with putting a lighter to them to see if they will burn that helps you tell the difference, but I keep forgetting if they should burn or not. I think they should not, and should just smell of burned hair. But beware, I don't give a guarantee.
