April 27, 2004

I've grown to really like the shots of the "reflection." I have no explanation other than I am reminded of the parallel universe. I want to peer inside that other world and wonder what's going on over there. Are the people the same? Is there world peace? Is everything the complete opposite, emotionally speaking? Am I completely deluding myself?

Technically, this is a light fixture on the patio roof which lights up the backyard at night. Marah is there, running from her little blue pool towards me...who's taking the picture.

Wow, great shot! I like your "parallel universe" explanation--maybe that is why reflection shots are so appealing.

LOL, Jypsee! Actually, we go to our community pool for the real swimming. This little one is cute because it's made of hard plastic, so we roll it out, plop it out on the grass, and there we are: ankle deep in water!

Thanks, everyone - so much fun getting practice with this new lens.

Fun exercise. I like how the light bulb magnifies the hedgerow (?) in the back.
