I like the ripples too =) I also like the framing with the two little twins on the right side and the two bigger (not quite twins) in the middle. The colors add a softness almost contrasting with the harsh industrial world. -- Tabs

To guest, just for you (grin) I made a portrait version, with all the ripples from the full picture
Kind regards CRC

Yes, i do live in Copenhagen, i was out on my rollerblades. When i saw this, went back to the car and got the camera. I can not recommend blading with a 10d mounted on a tripod fully extended (grin)

I really like the ripples, too. In fact that's the most appealing part of the picture to me. I'd like to see a version of this picture that was portrait instead of landscape, fairly tightly framed around the stacks and coming down to the foreground as far as possible for more ripples. I'm not suggesting this one be replaced with that. I'd just like to see another picture framed that way to emphasize the ripples. -- Victor

Hey, I was thinking of shooting this... Actually, my sister (who is also an architect) was on the design team of this power plant!!! Nice shot - interesting colors! The composition is a bit static, with both the horizon and the power plant almost smack in the middle. I love the long reflections and the ripples in the water - and wonder if a vertical with the horizon off centre might have worked better? CRC, do you live in Copenhagen? --Olaf.dk
