Ok, I know it has been a while since I have posted on this project but life got in the way. The love of my life went in for major back surgery on 3/22 and is still in the hospital. Leslie went in the hospital in a wheel chair and will walk out! Leslie is expected to come home on April 6th. During her time in the hospital I decided that I would pursue photography as a career.

The image.

Two years ago today was my last cancer treatment. I had to wear this mask while they nuked my head and neck for 40 days. It is really an archaic thing they do when you go in for this sort of thing. Like many other cancer patients I had to willingly subject my body to massive pain and suffering. I have never been the same since. One thing that cancer taught me is to make “it happen NOW”. Carpe diem…. Live your dream, no time like the present. Rock on!!!!

What a story, Tony - fantastic for Leslie, and amazing power to you for listening to the messages of illness. Your photos are wonderful - you should be pursuing a career in photography.

I hope for a speedy homecoming for Leslie. This is a sobering thought for the day, to live life fully. Most of the time I have a list of "must dos" that only eat up precious time. The only must do for me is to go out with my camera in the April sunshine.
