To me, the above picture is an image of "home." I have another version of a similar shot and I'm attempting it again to improve the lighting/coloring. I don't know if my little story comes across. Perhaps the thought behind the capture will remain in my own head, barring my explanation. So here it is. What I see is the prettiness of the flowers which signifies joyous moments in life (I've left the thorns on the roses signifying the unavoidable, unhappy moments), the lilies are symbols of purity and fertility, all set against a common background - the family room. That room is the center of the house, the place where we really live.
There is another center at this moment, however. That center is the focus of the other Picture of the Day - but I didn't put it here at first because then it would be in the metagallery and well...I just wasn't nervy enough. Here is the real thing. That is ruling our days...I wonder what's happening in Marah's mind? One can only imagine.
What is it? The centers of life.
