The roses are in! The roses are in! Picked a few and shot one or two or twenty different shots of the one or something along those lines. I need a tripod, I've decided - I have a cheap, little table top sort that falls over way too easily. A photography interest is expensive. My husband groaned aloud when I mentioned this "need" of mine.
Ahh...the needs of modern, civilized folks. Never-ending for some. Among my daughter's first words were, no kidding, "I need!" She stands in front of me and points and yells, "I need!" I know, I say. It's a way of life - there are few wants, many more "needs." My boys are in constant need as well - they don't want video games, they need the video games. Life will not be the same without those games.
I suppose though they are right in calling them, "needs." Because I am certain, these needs have grown out of unsatisfied, more basic wants. Such as more attention, more love, more patience. Perhaps if we slowed down our pace, we could temper the "needs." Perhaps? Have I mentioned the lenses that I want to buy?
What is it? A picture that needs.
