Simple stuff: a blend of a portion of my mother's Mexican shawl with a stone molcajete containing rocks of "gold" found by Jared and his friend on a walk. My mother used this all the time to make chile. She'd ground peppers, garlic - she'd mix the paste with other things and like magic, she'd create something special, imaginative. As creative as the colorful shawls and blouses she wore, as exciting as when Jared found the "gold." Ahhh the things he was going to do with his find!
