My "two cents"

I've left them on a lot of images. But I've got at at least 300 more in the jar!

I saw this idea on Bill Burke's PAD. As a pseudo-librarian, I feel I must cite my sources. :)

Nikon Coolpix 3100
1/66s f/2.8 at 5.8mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Love the "then and now" theme.

LOL! Hey Mark and Jeanne's mom!! :) You've raised two neat, nice and talented kids!

Yes I still have your coins. Yet another thing to lug when we move. Not to mention your books. It's time you got a bigger PAD!!

Wheat penny!! We always look through the change we get back to see what treasures are hidden. Wheat pennies are one of my favorites. This past summer someone gave us three silver quarters and a silver note. Great shot, Mark! I like the composition with the new and old.

Nice contrast between the old and new.
That used to buy two bazooka bubble gums, ah the good ol days : )

Tic Toc, Tic Toc, it's a day later, and I still see chocolate. Yummy silky smooth Milk Chocolate.

Maybe I should photograph some chocolate?!

My collectible coins are all at my parent's house in a WWII or Korean War munitions case. (When you come across that, save it, Mom. And it's MINE!) I reached my hand into the penny jar at home and pulled out a handful hoping to find one of these old ones. It was from 1957, so it's hardly "old" in people years. ;)

Not chocolate...come on Pete lets go!

Seriously those like the contrast of the new with the older one. Yet another collectable you show us that leaves me salivating with regret for not saving all my old pennies.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM . . . CHOCOLATE!
Oh. I see . . . just money. Never mind.

Great shot, looks like a very old coin

Nice contrast of the coins - dark/light-old/new. A new meaning to "my 2 cents".

Mark, I like this picture. I think it came out well. Just because I STILL see chocolate though.....
brother_mark27-Feb-2004 04:24
LOL! Lara. Yeah I just saw it on the latest PAD gallery page and only knew what it was 'cause I posted it. Not a stellar image, but I'm tired. It's late.

Jeanne, I did set him straight about me being older! It's so obvious. You're at least 16 months younger than me!
Lara S27-Feb-2004 04:12
Phew I am seeing things tonight. I thought it was chocolate.
Guest 27-Feb-2004 04:08
Well this came out really well! I always appreciate your 2 cents, Mark...That's what OLDER brothers are for....( I saw a comment in your family gallery where someone thought I was older! Pull-ease!)
