CPR buddy & AED

The proper placement of the AED (automated external defibrillator) at the left ear of the victim and the pads in the vicinity of their placement as well. The location of the AED at the left ear makes it easier for the person using it to access the victim for rescue breathing, checking pulse at the carotid, placing the elctrode pads, and reading the info on the machine.

I remember learning how to use these defibrillators when I took the lifeguard training class. They really make everything so easy for you. This could be pretty dangerous if you aren't careful. It's so important to just relax and follow the instructions that the machine tells you.http://www.halifaxheartcenter.com/Services.html
