Wanted to do a self portrait for this, but with a different feel from my usual.
I liked both of them, for different reasons. :)

A stunning shot, real poster work. How did you managed to run in front on the camera and still make it look like an instant moment? Maybe a small catchlight in eyes would be good but it still works very well without it.

This is a great job with a pose that has almost become a cliche. You've added your own style and it makes a very good image, avoids that contrived feeling totally. It has that "Command to Look" that Mortensen wrote about so many years ago. Nice work.

I think maybe I like this one better too, even without the eye contact. The eyes are still very interesting. :) ~ Lonnit

Hi Angela... This is the one! :-) Anyway, I like this one better. Primarily I like the composition more. Tonality is awesome. Very nice. Jim Fuglestad (Shutter)

Ray said it all, great picture. Beautiful eyes and natural pose, and it has a little mystery too. - jh

Very good use of hands. Very natural and "unposed." Love the toning and you have beautiful eyes.

Thanks to both of you!! I keep going back and forth on which is my favorite. I think they both represent my personality pretty well. ;) -- angela :)

Angela: I too prefer this one. It seems more natural (hands in frame, eyes averted). Just fantastic. The flowing hair, the doe-eyed/shy look, everything. Just works... extraordinarily well. --Joe

I like them both also, Angela, but I prefer this one with the hands actively participating... very nice.
