I love this photo, Jim. It's a very compelling image. Makes me wish I had a 10d. :-)

Jim,

One of my favorites, it reminds me of Les Misérables. Great job, this image stirs emotion.

Regards,
Aric

Great face, lots of impact...I'd like it more if there was a catchlight in the eyes, maybe a little eye enhancement. Nice.

Very simple and effective. Great composition.

Haha, Joe.... I haven't set my date yet... probably should. I'm not sure I did my Sony's either. I've always been an early adopter. ;-)

Jim: Escaped me earlier, but nice try sneaking this into Eligible. Everyone *knows* that the 10D came out in *March* of 1980. Sumpin' sneaky going on here (wink, smiling, smiling). Just jerking your chain. --Joe

Jim, for what it is worth, I like the more traditional composition of the b/w image better - and it better explains the title (Cold Thing). --Olaf

Haha... Thanks Joe... it's not exactly a "rapid fade into black", it's actually a big black fuzzy parka hood. See here...

Hey, Jim, wonderful shot of a familiar face. I like the rapid fade into the dark background. Isolates the important stuff very nicely. --Joe
