18 year-old Zap lived, canoed, and hiked in Alaska all her life. She lived her early years in Homer and later moved to Fairbanks where she lived in a cabin with Jera, Rumi, Brody, Bristol, and Pahos.
Zap passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 24, 2004 surrounded by her family.
