I know this image is rather large for web viewing but I wanted you to be able to see the detail this lense can capture. Now, which one should I use for my Photo of the Day?

I think I understand why people rave about "L" glass now....

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1/500s f/9.5 at 40.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Extraordinary counterlight and how it conforms the shape of everything involved in the image. Extremely suggestive ! And what a good demonstration of the capacities of the 17-40mm f4 L

This is great - you sure know how to make the best of the L - glass

Incredible picture, Ron - and your praise for L glass is clearly justified! Amazing...

That's a fine shot. Lots of detail, as you say; and well composed too.

This would be my choice of the two you've posted for 11/26... I love the curviness withing this image.
