The Turbine Hall at Tate Modern.

What a wonderful day out I had today on the way to my course at the City Lit.
First I went back to Borough Market to deliver the photographs that were commissioned last week by the chap at the Roast Hog Stall.
Then round to the London Fire Brigade Museum at Southwark Fire Station and Training School.
This was where I was trained in 1973. So there was plenty of nostalgia for me there.

Next to Tate Modern. The latest exhibit in the Turbine Hall is AMAZING. The photographs will explain better than I can. Here is the link

Chris, this image is absolutely amazing! Wonderful in every respect. You've captured the emotional moment so perfectly, not to mention so artistically. Now I'll know not to believe you a bit when you begin to prat on about how you can't be ARTISTIC! LOL Incredible work, Chris - simply stunning.

The warm light and shadows are very attractive. Not to mention the subjects are, too -- as is your composition and cropping. You got the perfect angle on this.

This is so cool; I too was thinking from the thumbnail this was Woody from Toy Story how weird is that? I love the color, and the how happy and comfortable the girls look, wonderful job!

I think I am more pleased with this photo than any other I have ever taken.

This is a really cool photograph, Chris! Love the lighting and the shadows, and the expression on the girl's face.
Southwark is my old stomping ground, too, I remember there is a couple of pubs down Borough High Street, one of which holds some very happy memories for me! I'll have to go back there, sometime!!

From the thumbnail image I was convinced this was a shot of Woody from Toy Story! How wrong can one be! Great image anyway... was this an exhibit??
