"Alexis Mountain Board Sports"
Alexis is the 16 year old daughter of our friends Paul and Heather. She had a design project to do for school, and I helped her with the woodworking part of it. Her dad used to work at Mountain Board Sports, and she is making her own board. Incidentally, my wife grew up with Jason, the inventor and owner of MBS. My wife skateboarded with him all the time when they were kids, and she said he was the crazy kid in the neighborhood. He was on the Ripley's Believe It or Not show recently, jumping a mountain board over a pit of alligators. I talked to him about it a couple weeks ago at the Raven's Nest Coffe Shop... it was just another day for him... no big deal!
