"Middle of the Street in my Pajamas!"
I was getting my three boys ready for school this morning, and I saw that it was an overcast day. About 15 minutes later, I caught a glimpse out the kitchen window of Pikes Peak shining in the most beautiful colors! I grabbed the camera and ran outside and took a couple of shots. If it looks like I was in the middle of the street, I was. ...in my pajamas, even. I accidentally left the camera on 1600 ISO from the gecko shot yesterday, and I missed the peak colors, but it is still a decent shot. It is nice to see this view every day, even with the power lines, street lamps, and other distractions! (not to mention the traffic bearing down on me!)

JD, is that the Rocky Mountain? Beautifully captured, great job! It kinda reminds me the scene I remember from Ogden, UT, but it wasn't that close to the mountain, tho.

JD, I was in Colorado Springs just over a year ago. I had a digital camera, but didn't get too many photos. Thinking about revisiting again in a bit. (Depends on the snow.) Great shot!
