I was living at the army base near palisadoes when this plane crashed. I was born in 1947 so would have been six when this happened. I remember men throughing their clothes off to swim out to the plane. To a six year old the waves looked huge.

Mr. Brummett, my name is Pamela Wilson Meguiar and I live in Tampa, Florida. My father, Robert Wilson, was the pilot of this plane that crashed off Palisadoes Airport on April 10, 1953. I was curious as to where you got the photos and if you had any more. I was 5 years old when my father died and I have very little knowledge of this event.
