79th at ease

A note on uniforms and dress:
From Left to right.
1st is the Company 1st Sgt the senior NCO in each Company. He is wearing a New York Shell jacket with 1st Sgt's stripes. He is also wearing a kilt in the Cameron if Erract tartan. He has a state of new york belt over an NCO's dress sash. A horsehair sporan, diced hose with yarn flashings and dress shoes. He also has on a glengerry with a Cameron hatbadge.

The next man is a Corporal in the company. He is wearing a dress glengerry and a standard federal 4 button sack coat with his corporal stripes. He is wearing tartan trews (pants) in the Cameron of Erract tartan.

The next private is wearing a standard kepie (hat) but has a state of new york shell jacket and normal sky blue pants.


These men represent the 3 main uniform types you will see, the only addition to the full dress uiform will be the inclusion of a dress jacket, seen here on the bagpiper.
