Phil,

Talk about post procesing, many great photographers are against it. I believe it's just simply a way of express ideas, visions, like painting, some tend to paint like photographs, and some paint very twisted images. Photo can achieve the same effect, thanks to mordern technologies.

***The color is surreal, Jen. The birds are the same blue-purple color as many of the plants, and the green grass looks sprayed on. I don't know if these supercharged colors is an accident produced by camera its or by over-zealous post processing, or if it actually was a carefully thought out move on your part to shock the eye and link natural forms in an entirely new way. In any event, I was stunned by this image. It makes me think about using nature itself as an art form that pushes aside reality for another world.
