Good lighting of the subject, and I too enjoy the halo effect of the background. I wonder if including the subject's shoulders might better frame the photo, and accentuate the halo effect. Great job.

this is a very good portrait. well done but also interesting with the subject looking out of the picture, kind of wide-eyed and smiling, like she's not even aware of the camera anymore. cool background too. _cUrVe
