I shot this picture of Carol back in film days, likely in mid 1960s. We first met each other in 1957 and were married on May 13, 1961. Over the years, I have made a photographic journey shooting pictures of Carol, at first with film cameras in the 60's and 70's like this one, and with digital from then on. What a wonderful journey it was for over 65 years! We became soulmates and best friends devoted to each other. And through it all she was my calendar girl! I think of her every day and can't help dwelling on our good times together as we grew in our love for each other and for our three girls who we always have loved dearly. I miss her so much and my life is empty without her. Thank goodness for dear friends and family, all of whom are very supportive! Also, I look forward to the resurrection Jesus promised at John 5:28,29.
