A Japanese pressing of Bill Evans's The Paris Concert, Edition Two, photographed in black and white with the record playing.

Recorded at l'Espace Cardin on November 26, 1979, the album features Evans's last trio, with Marc Johnson on bass and Joe LaBarbera on drums. Evans died less than a year later. The opening track, Re: Person I Knew, takes its title from an anagram of producer Orrin Keepnews's name.

I'd been looking for this pressing for years before finding a copy in Tokyo and having it sent express. Photographed with a Pentax K-5 and a Carl Zeiss 35mm f/2 lens at f/2.8, 1/125s, ISO 800.
