The Freedom 250 Grand Prix IndyCar race took place on the streets around the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, August 23. This TV shot shows some of the 25 contenders speeding down Pennsylvania Avenue, which connects the White House with the US Capitol, on the 58th of 147 laps.

That is definitely a cool view. One good thing is that the city probably went over the whole course and repaired and potholes before the race. ~V~
