Situé en Forêt-Noire près de la tour du Moosturm, il rend hommage aux ravages de la tempête Lothar de décembre 1999.

The Lothardenkmal is a 12-meter-high sculpture created by artist Norbert Feger.
Located in the Black Forest near the Moosturm tower, it commemorates the devastation caused by Storm Lothar in December 1999.

Ainsi, chaque pied du trépied porte un visage humain, un visage empreint de misère. Ces trois êtres semblent quelque peu désemparés, liés les uns aux autres sans autre choix possible. Qu’ils s’aiment ou se haïssent, ils ne peuvent vivre les uns sans les autres ; ils doivent rester soudés pour survivre et maintenir l’équilibre. Quelle scène mélancolique, baignée dans cette lumière pâle et délavée. ~VVVVV+++~ Thus, each leg of the tripod bears a human face—a face etched with misery. These three beings appear somewhat distraught, bound to one another with no choice. Whether they love or hate each other, they cannot live apart; they must remain united to survive and maintain their balance. What a melancholy scene, bathed in that pale, washed-out light. VVVVV+++~
