Le Lothardenkmal est une sculpture de 12 mètres de haut créée par l'artiste Norbert Feger.
Situé en Forêt-Noire près de la tour du Moosturm, il rend hommage aux ravages de la tempête Lothar de décembre 1999.

The Lothardenkmal is a 12-meter-high sculpture created by artist Norbert Feger.
Located in the Black Forest near the Moosturm tower, it commemorates the devastation caused by Storm Lothar in December 1999.

Le Lothardenkmal a été conçu pour évoquer un trépied. L'artiste Norbert Feger l'a érigé en 2005 sur le mont Siedigkopf pour illustrer la grande stabilité d'un trépied lorsque ses trois pieds sont en place, tout en soulignant que la sécurité humaine et les forêts denses peuvent être totalement anéanties par un événement catastrophique unique. Ce message trouve un écho dans les récents incendies de forêt et tremblements de terre. Vous avez pris cette photo à un moment où la lumière créait un effet féerique, avec un photographe dans le champ. J'interprète ce message ainsi : « On ne sait jamais quand une catastrophe peut survenir ; alors, adonnez-vous simplement à ce qui vous plaît lorsque vous sentez que le moment est venu. » ~VVVVV+++~ The Lothardenkmal was designed to resemble a tripod. Artist Norbert Feger erected it on Mount Siedigkopf in 2005 to illustrate the great stability of a tripod when all three legs are in place, while also highlighting how human safety and dense forests can be completely destroyed by a single catastrophic event. This message resonates in light of recent forest fires and earthquakes. You took this photo when the light created a magical effect, with a photographer in the frame. I interpret the message this way: "You never know when disaster might strike; so, simply pursue what you love when the moment feels right." ~VVVVV+++~
