Quite rare, much smaller than other 7x-12x40's and a much better zoom mechanism that uses a sprung steel strip to connect both oculars (much more efficient than corded models). Unusual diopter adjustment in that it is a scalloped ring positioned on the right objective. I have only seen the Pathescope De Luxe Zoom 7x12x35 with this method of diopter adjustment.
A very comfortable zoom binocular to use, only bettered by the Swift though I prefer the smaller form factor of this Plus binocular.
