We attend mass on Sunday even when we are out on a trip. It is always interesting to see what other parishes are like. Today we decided to attend mass at Carmel Mission Basilica. What a cool place to go to church. The mass was pretty much boiler plate Catholicism. You get an interesting feeling sitting the basilica of a mission established in 1770.
