We went to Mission Basilica San Buenaventura, Ventura, California for one reason: we didn't get a stamp in our mission passport the previous visit and we wanted to get it. At that time we didn't know about the passport book. So we waltzed on up to the gift store and found it was closed. Ginny started knocking on the door and a maintenance guy showed up. She asked to get in long enough to just get the stamp. I wandered off to look around. A nun showed up (Sister Rosetta Stone) and helped Ginny get in. Ginny found the stamp right next to the cash register where they are usually kept in the other missions. She made quick work of putting the stamp in her book. Here she is displaying her result under the watchful eye of Mother Mary.
