La Piazza Pio II est la place centrale de la ville historique de Pienza. Elle porte le nom de son fondateur, le pape Pie II, et a été conçue par l'architecte Bernardo Rossellino. Le bâtiment face à l'objectif est le Palazzo Piccolomini (palais Piccolomini), aujourd'hui transformé en musée. À gauche se trouve le Palazzo Comunale (palais municipal), qui abrite désormais l'hôtel de ville de Pienza. Le bâtiment que l'on aperçoit légèrement à droite est la cathédrale. ~VVVVV~
Piazza Pio II is the central square of the historic city of Pienza, named after its founder, Pope Pius II, and was designed by architect Bernardo Rossellino. The building facing the camera is Palazzo Piccolomini (Piccolomini Palace), which is now a museum. On the left is Palazzo Comunale (Municipal Palace), now the Town Hall of Pienza.
