There is great timing on this shot with the pelican appearing to almost walk on the water. The positioning of the pelican large in the frame with a tight crop nicely fills
the frame and the diagonal line of the wing across the image is nicely opposed by the body on the other diagonal. The body of the bird is well exposed and in focus with a fast shutter
speed freezing the action. There is an obvious cloning mark in the water above the bird's beak. In places such as water, it is better to use a soft brush to conceal the edges of the work we have done.
