A well-positioned staircase shot following the spiral down to a centre of interest painted on the floor below. The cast shadows from the railing give added interest to the
landing area midway down. This benefits the area as it is large in the frame and is a break from the spiral handrail and staircase. In order to ensure the shadows
were properly exposed, the windows have been overexposed and show blown out highlights. Perhaps HDR could have been used to keep the shadow detail
while controlling the highlights. I would also consider removing the uppermost short section of handrail as it is a small bright area at the edge of the frame.
