After 14 months, things are finally really moving forward. Hurray!!!
The landscape's team today was here to lay out flags as an outline for where the Island Mound Bed will go (it's huge!) https://pbase.com/britestar/image/175488991

Where the 7 new trees East of the driveway will be planted was also marked.

The project manager will be back on Monday to kill off the weeds in the courtyard in preparation for planting.
Workers will also be out on Monday to turn this outline into an actual raised planter bed with dirt. The bed will be 18" high.

Yes, this is just a snapshot. It could also go under the heading of "The Mundane".
But after working on this project for long, it means something to me to look back at in 20 years....
