During the weekend, I experimented with photographic a Goldring 2400 cartridge with three different cameras: The Nikon D3, The Pentax K10D and the Pentax K1.
The one showm here was taken with the 10D with the cartridge mounted on a Project X2 carbon-based tonearm, which in turn feeds into a Leben RS30EQ RIAA.
About the Goldring 2400
The Goldring 2400 is a high-performance moving magnet (MM) cartridge designed for audiophiles seeking exceptional sound clarity and detail.
It's crafted with precision engineering in Japan and features a dynamic dual magnet system that delivers a natural tonal balance and broad soundstage.
The 2400 is equipped with a nude elliptical diamond stylus, ensuring precise groove tracking and minimizing distortion.
With a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, a channel balance within 1dB, and an output level of 6.5mV, it offers outstanding accuracy and vibrancy. Its robust aluminum cantilever enhances durability, making the Goldring 2400 a reliable choice for vinyl lovers.
In my setup the Goldring 2400 is mounted on a Project X2 Carbon tonearm, which feeds the signal to a Leben RS30-EQ RIAA (which again feeds a
Leben CS-600 integrated amplifier).
The photo is a part of a Pentax K10D series.
