Lessons from Harry S Truman https://www.trumanlibraryinstitute.org/veterans-day/
For young'uns out there who don't know US history, Truman was a Democrat from Missouri and the 33rd president of the United States, serving from 1945 to 1953. He helped to bring an end to WW II. I learned this in school, but today many have forgotten.
“OUR DEBT TO THE HEROIC MEN AND VALIANT WOMEN IN THE SERVICE OF OUR COUNTRY CAN NEVER BE REPAID. THEY HAVE EARNED OUR UNDYING GRATITUDE. AMERICA WILL NEVER FORGET THEIR SACRIFICES.” Harry S. Truman

America’s veterans embody the ideals upon which America was founded more than 248 years ago. May those ideals and sacrifices help the country to survive the hardest of times.
