Now we are back at 8:35 AM the next morning. At this time the “Bells” and Northern side of the valley are in sunlight. Note that two “Bells” of Maroon Bells are Maroon Peak (14,163 ft) and North Maroon Peak (14,019 ft). The one we see as the closest is actually the smaller peak, North Maroon Peak. Maroon Peak is just a half mile behind North Maroon Peak.
