While the actual “Bells” and the lake were in shade, the aspen high up on one side of the valley were still in sunlight! If you look high up on this image, you will see five small white dots. If you zoom up on them, you can recognize the “spots” as Mountain Goats! This is at 6:17 PM on 9-24-24.
