Narrow Walkway in Edinburgh Castle

Do you see that building through the narrow walkway?
That is where The Honours of Scotland are on display in the Crown Room.
They are the oldest Crown jewels in Britain.
Made of gold, silver and precious gems, the priceless crown, sceptre and sword of state are objects of immense significance.
The crown was made for James V, who first wore it at the coronation of Queen Mary of Guise in 1540.
There were no photos allowed when you walked past the Crown and they had a guard there making sure everyone obeyed the rules.

Like how you composed this shot by occupying almost the entire image with the two buildings meeting in the centre, leaving only a narrow passage and leading us through this to the Crown Jewels with your narration. V

The light from the narrow walkway is perfect. It all reminds me of being there years ago and loving it all.

Nice shot. I like how the shadow accentuates the narrow passage. "V"

Great DOF to give us a clear view all the way to the background. Love the stonework.

Jane, you are the queen of composition!
The replacement of the shadow, and the people here is truly extraordinary!
