When we arrived at Žingvellir National Park, it was raining hard, so we decided a catnap in the car was a good idea. After that, the rain had at least lessened. Žingvellir is the site where (in the olden days) the people of Iceland used to congregate every summer to pass law and hold courts. Basically, there's an old church and other buildings (lots of photos of those to come), plus the "Stone of Law" with the Icelandic flag (that picture didn't come out well so I didn't post it). And lots of incredible landscape.
