I did buy a neutral-density and split neutral-density filter for this trip, hoping to get those "blurred, silky water" images I always admire on other people's websites. This was one of my first attempts, with the polarizing filter, ND filter, lowest ISO and highest aperture to extend the shutter speed as much as possible. This is a 1/2 second exposure. I like it, but I'm sure at some other time of day (not around lunch) I could've gotten the water silkier, more like the other waterfall pictures I took at the end of the day.
