There is lots of confusion and misidentification of these so-called "Christmas" cacti. I also have a similar plant that has pointing leaf(?) segments, and call that one "Thanksgiving" cactus, but it blooms when it feels like - usually before Thanksgiving and then at different times throughout the year.
Although the Pixel isn't supposed to have macro capability in Portrait mode I find it can use it closeup to throw the background out of focus.
