I actually went to LACMA to see the new construction and see how things were progressing. However, I became entranced by the remaining galleries and how the curation and presentation of Art was being done. I also was a little surprised by both my liking and disliking of the new Academy of Motion Pictures building which was closely adjacent.
I never found the new construction even after I went looking for it. Maybe the shameful truth is that unlike you, I am simply wearing out. After 2 hours and a mile and a half of walking I was almost tuckered out. It is true that I worked before I went to the museum, but that is generally sitting as you may well guess. So I simply cannot answer your question. Regrettably, I got tired and didn't want to hurt myself by pushing too hard.
I wanted to do what you asked about...I never saw it, which was surprising. Sorry. Traveller
T - I asked Bing AI as what is generally considered a non geometric form. I got the answer back : A geometric form is a pure mathematical object, such as a cube, pyramid, or sphere 123. An organic form, on the other hand, is an irregular shape that is often found in nature, such as a leaf or a rock 4. Therefore, an organic form is not a geometric form.
So, actually most things, like a pile of clothes, do not have geometric form.
Personally, I will stick with geometric forms for this challenge
I have been a bit surprised in looking around that Everything has geometry...almost. I have been sort of trying to find something that has no obvious geometry...but I have no clouds....and even a pile of clothes on the bedroom floor had Geometry. As maybe would clouds...and there are fractals of course...
And so I've been looking at empty space as a container...but obviously geometric.
I would certainly and gladly accept a titled entry from smart you, (or anyone), titled, Anti-Geometry.
Kind of broadening the Challenge....lol...as it were.
I’m speculating you visited the LACMA. A week or so back I made a mental note to ask you how the construction was proceeding. The problem was I lost the note but this image helped stumble onto that lost notation. Paul
I love the name you gave the space - Perfect Peace of Form.
And the human forms add incredible tension to me.
I want you to take them out; but then I go back and look at them. Tension !!
