I certainly hope Dave and family wasn’t on the MS Maud cruise ship. Thats the one that was hit by a huge wave and damaged the ship. It was a small ship but he says they prefer the smaller more intimate ships over the monster size ships like we were on. Paul

Enjoy your trip Dave! Our 2nd port of call had to be cancelled due to high winds on the tiny island of Coco Cay so we got a day of cruising instead. It was a huge ship, biggest we’ve been on, over 6000 passengers then 2200+ crew. About a month ago a 16 year old boy died falling from an upper balcony on that ship. Paul

I’m embarking on a cruise tomorrow on which I do not plan to use the WiFi, but other than the ship I do not expect to see anything geometric.

We’re back from a Caribbean cruise (no WiFi) and what is the first thing I see… Traveller's entry right here. WOW I like your eye, right eye of course the left eye is kinda lame but the right one is just WoW WoW WoW! Nice capture, love it and it’s my new challenge favorite. For now anyway. Paul

PS Paul is correct, the ceiling is not really that low...but the space gave me a sense of oppression, of maybe being crushed...these contradictions, large open space, but terribly confining, is what I was trying to capture in the shot. There is lots of geometry. Traveller

This space is under the new The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures....which is interesting and I will post the giant colorful dome, but I was actually there for LACMA....I have a pretty cool video that I will post here soon....but, if anyone remembers, I canceled my membership to LACMA with the new construction plans...(tear the whole place down), and Brad Pitt ect were given time to speak in favor, and I was bumped hoping to speak against...sigh).

Be that as it may, all of So Cal must be also confused, I had what remains of the Museum to myself...no one there even on Free Friday...the art and curation, (a new style of presentation), was very good and I may have been wrong in these regards and in my strong opposition.

My life sucks so I need to change it....get out of my comfortable cave of a home, back into the city....it was good. Best Wishes, Traveller

I agree cool/intriguing. The space looks like a parking structure (which I'm guessing it isn't).

That's a cool shot. It looks like the ceiling is very low, but is that a result of the wide crop? Estimating the chair backs to be around 4 feet off the ground, I'd say the ceiling is at least 12 feet, which really isn't that low. Unless it's a gym, in which case shooting free throws could be a bit awkward.

A very intriguing shot. That is a low ceiling! At first I thought it was temporary, but then noticed the sprinkler system .
